Our Story...
Cassie and Aaron met in 2014 when the dating app OKCupid warned they had an outrageously low chance of being compatible. On a scale of "friend to enemy," they were called definite "enemies" by the app before they met. They both found this to be so funny they had to meet.
Of course, this turned out to be just the opposite. The apps have not figured out how this mysterious process works yet! Two years later in 2016 Aaron and Cassie decided they wanted to marry and did so in a legal union in New York City Hall.
They gave a few days notice to their families, who were shocked at the sudden timing but saw the special bond they had developed and joined them there.
They did not have time to plan a wedding when they got married but always wanted to have a traditional ceremony and celebration.
After some time of being married, Cassie decided she wanted to become a Jew. After a long process she recently converted to Judaism. Cassie and Aaron then decided it would be special to have a Jewish wedding in the temple they belong to, Central Synagogue.
It has been a long time in the making - but Cassie and Aaron are so happy to finally have their wedding celebration and ceremony and invite you to be a part of it.
